I’ve been staying with Hawk for going on three weeks and it has been the best and worst time of my life. The best because he has really opened up to me. I feel like I know everything about him; both good and bad, and that enthralls me. The bad part is that while we have fooled around a bit it hasn’t gone too far, and my body is in a constant state of arousal. The only thing that makes me feel better is that I can see Hawk is in the same state as me judging by the huge bulge ever present in his jeans.

My stalker is still around and it's driving me crazy because I don’t know what is going on and Hawk doesn’t let me go far without me having a shadow. My brothers have almost finished the store and I’m so dang excited. I don’t know how Hawk will handle me being back in the store with my stalker still on the loose and them not being able to get a lock on him, but honestly I’ve let this buttmuncher put my life on hold long enough.

I can still remember the morning my brothers called almost blowing a gasket when the guy we think is my stalker stopped showing up to work; he had cleaned out his house and went off the radar.

The phone ringing pulls me out of my thoughts. I turn to look at Hawk who’s sitting at the island looking over paperwork.

“Hey, Derek what’s going on?” Hawk asks, answering the phone.

“What the hell are you talking about?” he growls. I raise an eyebrow at him.

“Hold on let me put the phone on speaker. Your sister is giving me the stink eye,” he says.

“Okay, so when I got to the job site today the jackass wasn’t here and no one has seen him. The foreman told me he left early on Friday because he was sick. So I went by his house to you know, be a good boss, but the house is empty. Not even a fucking dust bunny,” Derek says, and I can just picture him running his hands through his hair in frustration.

“How in the hell did this happen?” Hawk asks, and I can see a vein pulsing in his neck.

“I don’t fucking know. But I called Tracker and he’s already looking into things. I just figured you would want to know,” Derek says.

“I’ll call Shadow as soon as we get off the phone,” Hawk tells him.

“Just keep my sister safe and we won’t have any problems,” Derek growls.

“I love you too big brother,” I say sweetly, giving Hawk the stink eye because I have questions but I need to try and get Derek to calm down some.

“You too princess. I’m headed back to the office call if you get anything,” Derek says, still sounding stressed.
